Chocolate Flan

Syrup:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of water

Preparation:

  • Mix the sugar and water over high heat.
  • Cook until the syrup forms.
  • Add the syrup to the bottom of the cake pan.
  • Let cool.

Cake:

Ingredients:

Prepare according to the instructions on the box.

Flan:

Chocoflan Preparation:

  • In a round cake pan, add a little flan at the bottom.
  • Add the chocolate cake mixture.
  • With a toothpick, make a hole over the edge of the cake.
  • Add the flan through the hole.
  • Cover the chocoflan with aluminum foil.
  • In a larger bowl, add water.
  • Place the chocoflan in this bowl.
  • Bake for 1:15 min at 350 F
  • Remove from the oven. the cake with a knife.
  • Let cool.
  • Flip over the chocoflan on a cake stand.
  • Dry the top of the flan with a paper towel.
  • Decorate with dulce de leche.
